The Wisconsin volleyball team will look to get its first ever win against Stanford when the two powerhouse programs face off on Monday.
Wisconsin is coming off a four-set loss to Louisville in their season opener, winning the first set before dropping the next three. Outside hitter Sarah Franklin will play a key role for the Badgers this season, recording 17 kills in the loss.
Wisconsin has yet to win a match against Stanford, as the Cardinal holds a 5-0 record against them. Their most recent meeting was the 2019 National Championship, which ended in a Stanford sweep.
In its inaugural season in the ACC, Stanford was picked to finish second, with middle blocker Sami Frances, setter Kami Miner, libero Elena Oglivie, and outside hitter Elia Rubin selected to the Preseason All-ACC Team.
