Ravens vs. Chiefs odds at FanDuel Sportsbook

Kansas City opens its season as a short favorite at Arrowhead Stadium in this Week 1 Thursday Night Football matchup vs. the Ravens. The betting line represents a flip in the spread from last season's AFC Championship Game, when the Chiefs, as 4.5-point underdogs, won in Baltimore, 17-10.

Ravens vs. Chiefs betting tips

The Ravens have won five consecutive road games. Can they run that streak to six on TNF? If they fail to, will they still cover the spread? Baltimore is going to be good this year, and they’re always a tough road team, but betting against the defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs at home in Week 1 takes gumption. If you’re not sure how the game will shake out, consider these three prop bet options:

  • Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will benefit massively this season from TE Mark Andrews’ return after a broken leg prematurely ended his 2023 campaign. Andrews has an OVER/UNDER of 46.5 receiving yards, a total that would seem pretty low in years past for him. Will Andrews and Jackson pick up where they left off production-wise, or will Andrews snap share be lower than usual in his first game back?
  • Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown’s preseason shoulder injury doesn’t help Kansas City by any stretch of the imagination, but his absence will result in other wideouts like Rashee Rice getting more targets in the meantime. The OVER/UNDER prop line for Rice’s receiving yards is 59.5, but Andy Reid’s target shares are far from set at this point.
  • Derrick Henry makes his Ravens debut on TNF, as this top-tier RB starts the post-Titans chapters of his career. It looked a lot more like Tennessee’s offensive woes limited Henry’s production recently more so than him losing a step. The new Ravens RB has a prop projection of 63.5 rushing yards, and it’ll be exciting to see if King Henry can eclipse that mark.
