The long run-up to the Paris Olympics continues this weekend for some of America's top track and field athletes.
The USA Track and Field Indoor Championships are underway in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where competition began Friday and will conclude Saturday.
The highlight of Saturday's races is the finale, a 60-meter showdown between Americans Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman. Lyles, who blazed to the 100 and 200 titles at the 2023 World Championships, won the New Balance Grand Prix two weeks ago in 6.44 seconds, the fastest time in the world this year. Coleman set the 60m world record of 6.34 seconds in Albuquerque in 2018 and that mark still stands.

Other stars expected to be in action Saturday include Ryan Crouser, the shot put superstar who has won gold at the last two Olympics and world championships, and pole vaulter Sandi Morris, who has won gold twice at the world indoors and brought home a silver from the Rio Olympics.
