Liverpool will look to back up their impressive 1-1 draw away to Manchester City in Premier League action over the weekend by securing their place in the UEFA Europa League knockout rounds as Austrian side LASK arrive at Anfield.

The target is simple for Jurgen Klopp's side, win and you're in, regardless of what happens in the other match in Group E between Toulouse and Union Saint-Gilloise.

The hosts can also confirm themselves as group winners in this clash if they win and Toulouse do not in France, so expect the Reds to remain at relatively full-strength for here as they look to get the job done in style.

As for LASK, they travel to Merseyside knowing that they need to claim a historic win in order to keep their qualification hopes alive. The Austrian side won in their domestic division over the weekend but the task at hand here will prove to be a much tougher proposition.

    Liverpool vs LASK best bet

    • Pick: Both teams to score
    • Odds: +130 (DraftKings)

In truth, we're not exactly fully behind this selection but priced at +130 with DraftKings and with Liverpool's defence still looking vulnerable on occasion, it feels like a calculated gamble.

That comment can be backed up by the fact that the Reds have kept just one clean sheet across their last five competitive outings, drawing with Luton and losing 3-2 to Toulouse in that stint. The French side also came to Anfield just before that run, and although they eventually lost 5-1, they did find the back of the net.

There's also the matter at hand that LASK need to win here in order of having any chance of finishing inside the top two spots in Group E. Ultimately, we're not expecting that to happen, but it should at least see the visitors arrive in front of Liverpool's famous Kop looking to attack and create opportunities throughout. They also managed to score in the reverse fixture, a 3-1 defeat on Austrian soil.

    Liverpool vs LASK flier bet

    • Pick: Cody Gakpo to score first
    • Odds: +350 (DraftKings)

With three wins and a loss from their four Europa League matches so far, it's difficult to know what manager Jurgen Clop is thinking heading into this match with LASK.

There's a chance he could rotate his squad who grabbed a fantastic 1-1 draw on the road versus Manchester City last time out, or he could go full strength to seal progression and then rotate fully in their final group stage match.

We're expecting somewhere in between and as a result Cody Gakpo will come back into the starting XI for this one, especially as Diogo Jota left the field through injury at the weekend.

If Gakpo does start, at +350 to score first with DraftKings, the Dutch winger carries great value here. He may only have four goals across 745 minutes of action this season so far, but he should prove a difficult proposition for the LASK defence.

It should also be pointed out that all four of his strikes this campaign have come as Liverpool's first goal in the game which leaves him primed to manage a similar feat again here.
