The Canada men's national team will be hoping to spring a surprise and win its first trophy in 23 years in the CONCACAF Nations League final against southern neighbors USA.

The Sunday final in Las Vegas will be the first time that the two nations have faced off for a trophy with the only two other knockout meetings coming in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup (in 2002 and 2007). Both saw the USA ultimately advance.

The Americans are the defending champions of the CONCACAF Nations League, which is the newest competition designed to determine the best team in North America. The USA claimed the first edition in 2021 and brushed past Mexico to reach the 2023 final.

It's been a while since the Canadian men have claimed a title (2000 Gold Cup), but they did finish top of the most recent regional World Cup qualifying standings to qualify for Qatar 2022.

Canada, who knocked off Panama in the semis, would love nothing more than to send off long-time servant Atiba Hutchinson (103 appearances) with a trophy hoist as he plays his final competitive match for his country.

The Sporting News brings you the information you need to know to stream the match in both countries.

According to the official competition rules (page 22) the CONCACAF Nations League final will go to extra time first, and then penalties if the deadlock persists after 120 minutes of action.
