Roger Federer has retired from tennis, but fans can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the legend in the new documentary "Federer: Twelve Final Days."

From 2003 to 2018, Federer won 20 grand slam titles, which is third all-time, plus a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. 

"Federer: Twelve Final Days" brings viewers through 12 days of the Swiss star's career, from the time between his retirement announcement and the Laver Cup in London, his final competitive tournament. The film was directed by Oscar winner Asif Kapadia and Joe Sabia, and first premiered at the Tribeca Festival.

What is 'Federer: Twelve Final Days' about?

The documentary brings audiences through the last days of Roger Federer's illustrious tennis career. It was originally a home video never intended for public viewing, as it captures Federer at his most vulnerable as he says goodbye to the game that shaped his life. 

The film features interviews with other tennis legends and rivals including Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
