The blazing return of Roman Reigns isn’t the only news pouring out of the Summerslam fallout barrel as it relates to Solo Sikoa and the new-look Bloodline. Jacob Fatu, aptly nicknamed “The Samoan Werewolf”, had an integral part to play in the premium live event until he was taken out by an injury that first appeared to be a work.

It turns out, it wasn’t a work at all — Fatu actually injured his lower leg (now in a walking boot) after performing one of his familiar off-the-turnbuckle splashes onto WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and the announcer’s table.

Fatu was immediately seen writhing in pain while screaming at Solo Sikoa to get back into the ring to finish off Rhodes, a plan that was derailed with the OTC made his way to the ring following a four-month hiatus to Superman Punch Sikoa in the face before cutting him down to size with a spear.

Fatu has been sensational since making his WWE debut this summer as part of Sikoa’s coup d’etat, and it is unclear how long he will be out of action as the Civil War gets underway and/or how the WWE will work the storyline if he’s going to miss significant time.

It's key to remember that Fatu is also one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and it's unclear if he'd have to vacate the belt.
